home goods

Since moving into my new apartment, I've been doing a lot of home goods shopping, something I've never done before or thought remotely interesting. A lot of Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Home Goods, which I just found out is part of the TJ family. Aisles I could've cared less about have suddenly become fascinating! Bath towels, storage solutions, glass tupperware, funky-shaped vases. Dreams of overpriced things like chaise-lounges and ottomans. The love for the one strange kitchen gadget that does only one particular job, and its opposite, the multi-purpose tool. It makes me think shopping for the home requires another type of knowledge.

Some of my favorites:

$3 salad spinner
bowls from Chinatown
