fruits & vegetables

At last night’s Italian restaurant, the waiter brought out a whole bulb of roasted garlic and squeezed the cloves out to make a dipping sauce for the bread. It felt so fancy and I’m not used to that! Definitely have to do that in the house. It’s so interesting how all these pungent things, like garlic and onions, turn sweet after some heat. And the shapes and textures of all the different fruits and veggies are great too. The eggplant for example. The only one I’m not really a huge fan of are green beans because of their squeakiness. It makes me want to go to the Korean grocery store again soon, which has one of the best produce displays I’ve seen (!)
